Why have all these customers decided that the managed service route is the right one for them?
They have decided that their core competency is managing the Library Service and that managing and operating the technical infrastructure is better carried out by a supplier with an excellent track record providing this to service to public libraries and other bodies.
Axiell has a secure, environment controlled data centre, using dedicated data networks for each customer.
They have decided that the cost of staff and equipment resources can be reduced by delegating systems management to a trusted third party.
Axiell has a dedicated Service Management Team with core technical and library management skills which can draw on 30 plus years experience in the Library Management industry.
This team is proactive. It monitors and checks systems, taking preventative action where necessary. It also has long established and trusted relationships with key suppliers including Computer Associates and Sun.
The team is also well versed in Change Control practice– well established and tested procedures are in place with supporting processes and management tools and reporting structures.
The managed service provided by Axiell is the ultimate partnership between customer and supplier – the customer decides which aspects of their service they require to be managed by Axiell, if they do not want the full service, and Axiell provides as much or as little as required.
